Does someone have to die in order to have an estate sale?
A:
No.  Estate Sales are used for downsizing, bankruptcy, moving as well as the demise of a loved one.

Q:
Must an Estate Sale always be held on property?
A:
No. On the property is the ideal situation.  In the event that it is not possible, other options might be available.

Q:
Is there a better time of year to hold an Estate Sale?
A:
Yes.  We find our most successful sales September through December, and February through June.

Q:
What items are not good for an Estate Sale?
A.
Any broken or overly used, torn items.  Very few exceptions to this rule.

Q:
Should the family clean, sort & throw out first?
A:
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!  We have a handle on what is valuable and collectible.  Allow us to determine this.

Q:
How many days doe a typical Estate Sale run?
A:
Two to four days – sometimes longer if the estate warrents it.

Q:
What are options for unsold items?
A:
You do have options and we can discuss as there are many.

Do people really come to Estate Sales?
A:
Everyone is curious about Estate Sales.  We have first timers as well as our tried and true followers.

What items are sold at Estate Sale?
A:
Everything except Real Estate, pets, livestock, and alcohol.

Is auctioning the contents a better solution than an Esate Sale:
A:
No.  Item for item, Estate Sales bring a higher price.

Q:
Is a total price cleanout a better option?
A:
Never in the beginning – always at the end!

Who prices the items?
A:
We price all items as we have strong working knowledge of prices.  Should there be a question, we have a list of professional appraisers that we rely upon for values.
